TIGI Cosmetics, a consumer division of international professional hair care company TIGI, recently reformulated and repackaged its successful Bed Head Cosmetics Line, including a contemporary packaging makeover. “We needed an entirely new look with updated cleaner, more streamlined packaging,” said Sydney Jones, TIGI Cosmetics marketing manager. “When either the professional hair and beauty industry or the beauty consumer thinks of our brands they think of the cool, funky and colorful product packaging and product names that have positioned our brands as industry leaders.”

TIGI launched their best-selling Satin Liquid Foundation (formerly Glamma Liquid) in a new component SeaCliff Beauty Packaging & Laboratories provided through their exclusive partner, Eurovetrocap. The 30ml glass “Laura” cylinder bottle features the “Laura” 18/415 neck pump with the “Nina” clear overcap. The packager used a ceramic baked process to print the 2-color silkscreen artwork on the bottle with distinctive logo ID and clear, contemporary typeface to re-modernize the brand. The pump’s clean-looking, shiny silver finish was achieved through UV metallization. The packaging component may be used to introduce other line extensions for the brand including a skin moisturizer, serums and cleansers.
